CRM 4.0 to CRM 2011 Report Error – rsReadOnlyReportError

 

When i tried to run a CRM report that we had migrated from CRM 4.0 to CRM 2011 I received this error

Reporting error the report cannot be displayed (rsReadOnlyReportParameter)

Fortunately after some googling I found this blog which had the solution. I needed to open the report in the SSRS Report Manager website and go the Parameters and either Hide or Prompt User. I choose Hide and everything started working.

I hope this saves someone else this pain
